Why did I choose this career?

First, to be honest, i wanted to be a lawyer. At the school I always talked with my classmates about that and my family was very happy that her daughter was a lawyer.
I started to think if it was what I really wanted and I realized that being a lawyer would not make me happy. When I took this decision everybody told me: "Why?", "You would be a good lawyer" or "Lawyers makes lots of money, you should think about that". Is sad but, for many people how much money you will win is the most important. It don't care the happiness.
 For me, it wasn't easy listen to the comments, but I followed my intuit. My mom always told me that I should be happy with my decisions. With your help and your tips, I decided to study journalism.
I will not lie, I never dreamed of being a journalist, but, for my surprise, Over time I have been loving what I do and I believe that being a journalist is a very important job. I'm very happy and I believe that I am lucky because i'm in the right place.  I like to talk, to read, to write... I like to communicate. When I work, I always want to be close to people.
